Unbound AI is a local iPhone app. Once the model is downloaded and verified, chat generation works without a network connection.
Getting started
- Open the app on a supported iPhone and tap Start.
- Complete the subscription purchase shown by Apple.
- Download the approximately 2.5 GB model over Wi-Fi or cellular data.
- Keep the app open until verification finishes. After that, Airplane Mode can be used for chat.
Common questions
Why is a subscription required?
Chat access is unlocked through an auto-renewable App Store subscription. Weekly, monthly, and yearly options unlock the same on-device functionality; they differ by billing period. Apple shows the exact localized price and renewal terms before purchase.
Does Unbound AI need the internet?
Only for the first model download and verification, and for any optional links you choose to open from About. Prompting, generation, history, search, stop, and regenerate work offline after setup.
Why did the answer stop or look unusual?
The model is designed to be more direct and to produce fewer unnecessary refusals. It can still be inaccurate, sensitive, or inappropriate. Treat important output as a draft and check it independently.
How do I manage or cancel billing?
On iPhone, open Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Purchases and subscription status are managed by Apple. Use Restore Purchases in the app after reinstalling or changing devices.
How do I delete my conversations?
Delete an individual conversation from its menu, or use Clear conversations in Settings. Removing the app also removes its local conversation store.
